Death of Medical Student Investigation Continues

Followed by mysterious death of a medical student in hostel, an open verdict was issued on Monday following the post-mortem examination conducted on the deceased medical student.

Thereby, the Judicial Medical Officer who conducted the examination ordered that certain body parts be forwarded to the Government Analyst for further examination.

In the meantime, Governing Board of the university  convenes tomorrow (14). In order to submit a report to the Governing Board, the  Vice Chancellor, Professor Lakshman Dissanayake has ordered the Deputy Registrar to carried out a  special investigation and submit the report.
