17,457 Drug Addicts in Srilanka

In reply to a question raised by Matara Parliamentarian Buddika Pathirana, Minister ,of Health Rajitha Senarathna said that according to details obtained from World Health Organization (WHO) 17,457 drug addicts are in Srilanka. Out of which 13 of them have been affected by HIV . Government will take steps to control spread of HIV and use of drugs  in Srilanka.
