Accident Cost 1 live & 4 Injured

One person was killed while another four, including a woman and 3 children, sustained injuries after the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry at Kiula in Hungama.

The accident took place at around 1.30 am today (23) and that all five passengers of the car , a father, mother and their three children were admitted to the Tangalle Hospital.

However, the father who was driving the car at the time of the accident had succumbed to injuries a short while later while receiving treatment in the ICU. The deceased and his family are residents of Bundala. The driver of the lorry has been arrested . Further investigation carried out by Hungama Police.
