Rishad Breath Fire on Aluthgama Incident

Industry and Commerce Minister Rishad Bathiudeen was provoked by the incident of  burning a textile super center belongs to a  Muslim trader in Aluthgama  . This is not the first time that this trade center was burnt. But this same complex had been burnt twice earlier during Aluthgama clashes.

He requested the government to take immediate steps to find out,  whether this is an act of sabotage or   a electrical defect. In this area Muslims were attacked in an organized manner and their property destroyed in the past, which led the people to think about sabotage. Hence, he requested to the government to investigate this incident thoroughly and take appropriate steps to ensure co- existence among different ethnicity.
