Thodari,Aandavan Kattalai leak online: Dhanush, Vishal Thank Vijay Fans for Pointing it out

The trade of pirated DVDs seems to be thriving despite government and film fraternity’s constant efforts. The latest films to fall prey to piracy were actor Dhanush’s Thodari and Vijay Sethupathi’s Aandavan Kattalai. After the illegal DVDs of the films were found circulating in Cuddalore, the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, one of actor Vijay’s fan associations, brought it to the attention of the authorities by filing a police complaint.
Upon learning the news, Dhanush thanked the fans of Vijay for their help in fighting piracy. “Sincere thanks to Vijay sir’s fan club association members for filing a complaint against piracy. #godbless #spreadlove,” he tweeted.
Actor Vishal also appreciated Vijay’s fans for taking initiative even as he urged fans of other actors to also help in curbing piracy. “glad dat @actorvijay fan clubs hv steppd fwd 2 voice out n curb piracy. it’s time 4 other actors fans 2 cme fwd.promise u der Wil b a change,” he posted on his Twitter account.

The latest development comes days after Vishal’s appeal to actor Dhanush and his fans to file a complaint after a pirated version of Thodari was uploaded online. “Dear @dhanushkraja n al fans.guess u must v hrd of da online version of #Thodari.well my concern is raise yr voices n register a complaint,” he said.
