Today is World Children’s Day

Today is World Children’s Day.

The Ministry of Women and Child Affairs stated that a national event in view of World Children’s Day will be held at St. Josephs in Kegalle.

Minister Chandrani Bandara has made a request from parents to be more vigilant, and to concentrate more on their children.

The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Wildlife, said that in line with the day, children will be able to visit the zoos in Dehiwala, Pinnawala and Ridiyagama, free of charge.
