Digambaram Blames Secretary of CWC for Up Country Workers Demonstration

Minister of up country Infrastructure and Community Development, Palani Digambaram said that the General  Secretary of the CWC is very much behind the on going strikes in the estate sector.  By doing this  he was attempting to show his strength to the Government to became a minister.

 He further said that the trade union leaders who misled the workers learnt the bitter lesson at the last general election . It has to be mentioned that the workers received an increase of 2, 500 after the present Government came into power.  The trade union leaders instigating the workers to strike must win the demand for a wage increase of Rs 1000 a day , he concluded.
