Fairly strong winds (up to 50kmph) at times are expected over the island.

Thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Northern, North-central, Uva, and Eastern provinces after 2.00 p.m.

Light showers will occur at a few places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.
