“Don’t take My Property” – MP Tissa Attanayake urges Colombo Mayor

 

Parliamentarian Tissa Attanayaka has written to the Colombo Mayor requesting him not to take over his property, located in Colombo city limits.

In his letter to the Mayor, MP Attanayake stated that he has duly paid respective local tax without arrears.

The Colombo Municipal Council issued a red notice on MP Tissa Attanayake last Tuesday stating that the MP failed to pay the local tax for his residence located on Bauddhaloka Mawatha.

The CMC has also informed MP Attanayake that his property would be taken over by the CMC to claim his arrears for 3060 rupees.
