High Commission of Pakistan Welcomes Pakistan Cricket Team in Colombo [Imges Inc…]

 

The High Commissioner of Pakistan in Sri Lanka Maj Gen ® Syed Shakeel Hussain hosted a banquet in Colombo to welcome Pakistan cricket team, which is visiting the Island nation to play 3 Tests, 5 ODIs and 2 T20s with their Sri Lankan counterparts.

Welcoming the Cricketers in Sri Lanka, HE Shakeel Hussain said that Pakistani Cricket Team is very well known to the Lankan cricket fans. He also felicitated the green-shirts for their splendid performance and victory in the first Test match in Galle. The High Commissioner expressed the hope that the team will continue their winning performance during their remaining matches.

Team Manager Naveed Akram Cheema said that the player as well as team management is pleased to be present at the event. He said that the players are determined to do well in the games ahead and would contribute their best to win laurels for the country.

The players of the Pakistani Test cricket squad, team management, coaches as well as Senior Officers of the Pakistan High Commission attended the reception.
