Weather Forecast For 15 th October 2016

Atmospheric conditions are getting favorable for afternoon thundershowers.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at most parts of the islandafter 2.00 p.m.

Showers will occur in Western and Eastern provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts in the morning too.

Fairly heavy falls (about 50-100 mm) are also likely at some places.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
