Injunction Order Against ‘Silence In The Courts’ Extended Till Tomorrow
Lenin Rathnayake, on 5th October 2016 , filed a case at the District Court seeking the banning of the film, alleging that it is based on false facts and is damaging to both himself and the judiciary.
The case was postponed since a lawyer representing the plaintiff, Magistrate Lenin Rathnayake, could not be present at the court today (19) due to a personal reason.
Colombo District Court Judge M.U. Gunawardena extended the injunction order against Prasanna Vithanage’s movie ‘Usaviya Nihandayi’ (Silence in the Court) till tomorrow ( 20).
The defendants will submit their arguments on as to why the order should not be extended tomorrow.
