Champika Questions Why Tiran Alles not Arrested?

Tiran Alles and his accomplices were accused of providing Government funds of Rs. 800 million to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) through Reconstruction and Development Agency (RADA).

In an event where Champika Ranawaka’s book called “Mage Thekma” release, Champika said, that out of all six personnel issued with charge sheet only Tiran Alles was allowed to move around freely, while others were arrested.

Tiran Alles case in High Court was postponed on 19 times. Independence of Judiciary is not sufficient but it should also be impartial. People are scared to talk about Judiciary because they may be end up with the contempt of Court Case and Sentenced to prison, he mentioned.
