Sarath Weerawansa Remanded & Bail Granted to Jayantha Samaraweera

UPFA MP Jayantha Samaraweera who was remanded on the allegation of misusing state vehicles has been granted bail by the Fort Magistrate today (24).

He was released on a cash bail of Rs.25,000 and two personal bails of Rs.1 million each.

In the meantime , UPFA MP Wimal Weerawansa’s brother Sarath Weerawansa who was  remanded in connection with the  allegations he misused a Government vehicle when his brother was a Minister in the former Government. He  has been further remanded until 07 th November 2016  by the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court.
