Deep Depression in Bay of Bengal – Met. Dept.

Showers or thundershowers could be expected at times in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, North-western and Southern provinces after 2.00 p.m today.

The Department of Meteorology states that the depression in the Central Bay of Bengal has developed in to a deep depression and located about 1500 km northeast of Sri Lanka.
