Bairavaa Teaser: Another Action-Heavy Title From Vijay, Watch Video

With yet another action flick, Ilayathalapathy Vijay is back to thrill the mass audience in his new title Bairavaa. The filmmakers released a one-minute motion poster and we assure you that 80 per cent of the movie packs heavy fights and stunts, and 100 per cent of the movie revolves around Vijay.
While teasers are usually tantalising and you have to watch them multiple times to connect the dots, this one becomes clear in the first watch. Here are the salient points — the Tamil star has a double role, one as a rugged and rustic chap throwing power punches and another as a dutiful working class professional. However, we get to see him in the former mode appealing to the mass audience.

If you watch the teaser closely, the action bits are a regular combination of playing with knives, flipping the guns, refilling revolver cylinder, rolling coin across fingers, and not to forget, the construction-site fight.
We also get a glimpse of baddie Jagapati Babu aka Jaggu Bhai who is on a spree of taking negative roles in Tollywood. The movie features Keerthy Suresh playing the lead opposite Vijay. However, she can only be seen dancing with Vijay in certain scenes.
The film, written and directed by Bharathan, is touted to be an action-family entertainer. Bairavaa also stars Aparna Vinod, YG Mahendraa and Daniel Balaji playing crucial roles. The film is expected to release early next year.

Vijay was last seen in Theri, directed by Atlee. Theri was 2016’s first major release in Kollywood and besides domestic BO, it dominated the worldwide box office for a Tamil film.

The film held the top slot at the Tamil Nadu box office until Rajinikanth’s Kabali pushed it down to the second place.
