S Duraisingam IPS is back with some serious action and his signature look of a furious lion. The filmmakers on Friday officially revealed the motion poster of Singam 3 and Suriya is back in khaki. It looks as if he hasn’t aged a bit since the inception of the franchise in 2010. The makers have also announced that the teaser of the film will be launched on November 7.
Keeping up with the legacy of the series, Singam 3 again features Tamil superstar Suriya playing the hot-headed cop. Under the direction of Hari, S3 also features Anushka Shetty and Shruti Hassan playing female leads. Harris Jayaraj has also been roped in for composing music of the movie. Singam 3 is being bankrolled by Studio Green 2. The movie is slated for a release on December 16.
Initially the release of the film was set for Diwali, but to avert a box office clash between Suriya and his brother Karthi’s Kaashmora, S3’s dates were pushed further. According to industry buzz, Karthi had requested the Singam 3 producer K E Gnanavel Raja to defer its release in order to ensure his brother’s film gets a grand opening.
Expressing his joy over the composition of Singam 3 intro song, Suriya had also earlier thanked the music director Harris Jayaraj for the number in the movie.
“Thank you!! You are making me dance for it so… much #S3,” Suriya had tweeted. The music directed had posted on Twitter: “Here we go… Just recorded Surya’s Intro song for S3 Oh Sone Sone Super Sonic. [sic]”

Suriya is also buckling up for his next project which had been announced by production house Dream Warriors Pictures earlier in the month. The film is tentatively titled Suriya 36.
