Customs Unions Poised for Trade Union Action

An attempt is being made to create a new post in the customs department. Customs trade unions are dead against creation of a new post, which they see as unnecessary. They registered their protest but of no avail. Hence, they decided to take trade union action as from 31 st October 2016. Seven other customs trade unions have joined hands with our union in this trade union action said, its’ Secretary,J.A.Gunatilleke.
