Followed by a Discussion With Swaminathan Jaffna University Students Suspend Their Protest Campaign

Minister of Prison Reforms, Rehabilitation, Resettlement and Hindu Religious Affairs, D.M Swaminathan went to Jaffna this morning to hold a discussion with the student unions and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Jaffna in connection with  the deaths of the two Jaffna University students.

After a discussion with the  visiting Minister D.M Swaminathan, the students of the Jaffna University have suspended their protests, as the Minister assured them the opportunity to meet President Maithripala Sirisena tomorrow.
