Foreign Trips of Pro Government MPs & Ministers Cancelled
When Parliament convened today under the Chairmanship of Karu Jayasuriya, budget speech commenced
The voting on second reading of the budget will be taken up on 25th November 2016. There after third reading at group level will begin.
Government sources said that Ministers, Deputy Ministers , State Ministers, and MPs of the Government are debarred from visiting foreign countries during this period. Purpose is to ensure victory of the Government at final voting.
