A Man Arrested for Stabbing His Wife & Two Daughters to Death in Uppaveli, Kinniya

A man has been arrested for stabbing his wife and two daughters to death in Uppaveli, Kinniya this morning.

The victims were a 32 year old woman and her daughters who were 8 and 10 years of age. The police said the suspect may be suffering from mental illness.

The bodies of the victims are placed at the Trincomalee Hospital. The Uppaveli police are conducting further investigations.
