Vote on 2nd Reading of Budget 2017 in Parliament Today

The third budget of the good governance government was presented by Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake on the 10th of November.

The debate on the second reading of the budget was held over the last six days.

The final day debate on the second reading of the budget is scheduled to begin  today   at 9.30 this morning.

The Parliamentary debate on the second reading of the 2017 Budget will conclude today. Followed by this,  the vote on the second reading of the 2017 Budget proposal will be taken today (18) .

The debate on the third reading or the Committee Stage debate will commence tomorrow. The final vote on the 2017 Budget will be taken on the 10th of December.
