Former SL Ambassador to US Jaliya Arrested While Attempting to Escape

The Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID) has requested  the former Sri Lankan Ambassador to the US, Jaliya Wickramasuriya to attend  FCID inquiry on misuse of state funds.

In order to circumvent  the FCID inquiry ,  he planned to go abroad  through the BIA . He has been arrested   at the BIA  .
