Water Tariff Hike Definite – Sudarshini

State Minister, Sudarshini Fernandopulle said,  that proposed 30%  increase on  water tariff  in the 2017 budget was temporarily deferred on  direction  given by the President.

Water tariff usually revised once in three  years . However, the revision is introduced without causing inconvenience  to the consumers.

Hence, as from 1^st December there will be an increase in water tariffs.
