Case Against Wimal For Violating Intellectual Property Act Postponed

JVP General Secretary,  Tilvin Silva  filed a court case against  MP Wimal Weerawansa for  publishing and distributing the book ‘Neththa Venuwata Eththa’, under Intellectual Property Act .

This  case was taken up for hearing before the  Colombo Commercial High Court Judge,  Shiran Gunaratne today. The respondent requested the Court to fix another date for the case since there is an ongoing Parliamentary session.

Hence the  Court today postponed the  case for hearing  again on March 10, 2017.
