Manthai Salt Corporation Won’t be Privatized  

Mannar District Development coordinating meeting was held on 21.11. 2016 at Mannar District Secretariat. Civil organisations in unison submitted a petition to Minister Rishad and Chief Minister Northern Province Vigneswaran requesting that the Manthai salt corporation should not be privatized.

After a brief discussion Rishad has assured Chief Minister Vigneswaran that he would not rush to come to a conclusion to privatise Manthai Salt Corporation.
