Showery condition is expected to enhance to a certain extent in the Eastern and Southern part of the country.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Eastern, Uva and Southern provinces.

Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Centralprovinces after 2.00 pm.

Fairly heavy falls (more than 75mm) can be expected at some places, particularly in the Eastern,Uva and Southern provinces.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
