Cloudy skies and fairly strong winds at times (up to 50kmph)can be expected over most parts of the island.

Possibility for Showers over the country is low. However showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Southern, Uva and Central provinces and in the Ampara, Batticaloa and districts.
