Cabinet Reshuffle to Resolve Inter Ministry Rivalry

Following the revelation made by Deputy Minister Palitha Range Bandara recently about a cold war that has been brewing for some time among some Ministers , State ministers and Deputy Ministers , the President and Prime Minister have had discussions in this connection.
 Further, President and the Prime Minister have received complaints that in certain Ministries , there had arisen a situation in which the Cabinet Ministers are unable to carry on their work with the present State Ministers and Deputy Ministers and this could only create deeper friction if not sorted out right now.
 In order to resolve these issues  the President and the Prime Minister  are considering   a Cabinet reshuffle .
Changes are expected in the Ministry of Ports and Shipping, Transport and Civil Aviation Services , Foreign Affairs , Skills Development and Vocational Training , Agriculture, Law and Order, Finance and State Enterprise Development .
This Cabinet reshuffle is expected  ahead of Local Government elections to be held in May 2017,  reliable sources disclosed .
