Face Arrest If Create Unrest in the Country – Govt.

Issuing a communique the Government Information Department said,  that  instructions have been given to law enforcement institutions including the police to take stern action against groups that create unrest and turbulence in the country.

The relevant communique had been issued followed by   the tense situation created at the function held day-before-yesterday during  the inauguration of the multi-function building at Mawaramandiya in Biyagama.

The communique also said,  that legal action will be taken against the former Biyagama Divisional Council chairman and a group,  who behaved in an unruly manner at a time when the Divisional Council had been dissolved.
