CB Bond Scam Arjun Mahendran, Should Be Punished by Putting his Feet in Shackles.

State Minister of Science, Technology and Research Lakshman Seneviratne said , that as a member of COPE his recommendation in the probe into the Treasury Bond scam incident is that the former Governor of the Central Bank, Arjun Mahendran, should be punished by putting his feet in shackles.

He said any attempt to suppress this probe report and nits recommendations would be tantamount to encouraging a huge national crime. He said he would in no way be a party to that crime , adding that it is a huge mystery to all members of COPE, including himself, why this Treasury Bond scam seems to have been swept under the carpet.

The State Minister asked “what more is there to talk about regarding State institutions when in relation to them the decisions and verdicts of COPE, which comprises members from all political, are being suppressed by a powerful hidden hand?
