Navy Commander Praised For Timely Action

In a letter to the Navy Commander,   Chairman of ABC    shipping the local agents for Japan’s  K line shipping  expressed its gratitude and praise for Navy’s timely action. Letter reads ‘’ theirs was one of the largest shipping lines in the world and had regained confidence due to the navy action’’ . ‘’ If not for the Navy  Commander’s   direction and action taken by the Srilanka Navy, their would have been  an  irreparable loss cost to the reputation  for Srilanka as a safe destination for the International shipping community ‘’ ,  letter concluded.

On  the other hand Navy Commander is under criticism  for forcibly handling a journalist  called over at Hambantota  Port to cover  blockage cause  by protesting employees.
