Buddhist monks and the group of Buddhists , who raided the refugees came under criticism not only by the Government Ministers, politicians but by social service organizations too. Some of them publically stated that by their act, they brought disgrace to the Buddhists of Srilanka in the eyes of the international community. A few of them blamed police inaction.
Followed by this, Galkissa Police has submitted a ‘’B’’ report at the Galkissa Magistrate Court. The court in turn noticed three Theros including Akmeemana Dayaratna Thero to appear before the Galkissa Magistrate Court on Monday (2nd October).
