A discussion was held with seat and district organizers of the SLFP at Srilanka foundation yesterday (20) . At this discussion the President Maithripala Sirisena has announced the Local Government Election will be held in May 2017. Gazette notification in this regard will be published within a short period of time. Further he said, re organization process of the SLFP will be completed by 31st March 2017.
