Plain Tea & Tea Removed From National Hospital Canteen Tender
On 15th December 2016 a tender was called to under take running of the canteen with 58 items. List of 58 items does not include plain tea and tea. Instead of these two items, Nestea and Nescafe had been included. Earlier plain tea was sold at Rs 15 . According to the new canteen tender consumers has to pay Rs 40 for a Nestea. National Movement For Consumer Rights Protection has written to the Director General of the Health Services to look into this matter.
