Weather Forecast For 31st December 2016

Several spells of light showers will occur at several places in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Hambantota district.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Sabaragamuwa, Western and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts after 2.00pm.

Fairly strong winds can be expected over the country.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
