Australia’s Ryan Harris retires from cricket with immediate effect

Australia’s Ryan Harris has been forced retire from all forms of cricket due to a knee injury.

The 35-year-old was in contention to be selected for the first Ashes Test match next week, but following an injury sustained last week, the fast bowler has announced his retirement.
