JO Poised to a Protest Tomorrow

A massive protest against the government’s attempts to privatize 32 State Institutions, will be launched from Hambantota tomorrow(5), Joint Opposition  Vice Chairman and SLFP Ratnapura District MP Ranjith de Zoysa said yesterday(3). He said due to the oppressive tactics of the government, the people were now seeking a new party with a new leadership to lead the country.

Ranjith de Zoysa added that SLFP Kurunegala District MP Mahinda Rajapaksa was ready to give leadership to the struggle initiated by the JO to rid the country of the current dictatorial regime.

He further said,  that the protest campaign which is to begin from Hambantota will be carried out throughout the country.
