PM to Meet MPs on Controversial Development (Special Provisions) Bill Tomorrow

Prime Minister,  Ranil Wickremesinghe has decided to meet with government members of parliament to discuss the controversial Development (Special Provisions) Bill,  that has been defeated so far by eight provincial councils.

The discussion is scheduled to be held tomorrow  (5) .

The Prime Minister is expected to seek the opinions of the government MPs on the piece of legislation and also the areas that need to be  amended in order to get it approved by parliament.
