Euros Smuggling Attempt Prevented at BIA

Customs Deputy Director, Parakrama Basnayake, said an Iranian national  who  attempted to smuggle a stock of Euros worth of Rs.28 million  has been arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA). He was about  to depart for Qatar aboard flight QR655, scheduled to take off on the night of January 9.
