“I won’t join UNP” – Dy. Minister Shantha Bandara

 

Deputy Minister Shantha Bandara states that he would never join the United National Party (UNP).

He said this during a media conference held in Colombo today in response to a statement made yesterday by Minister Lakshman Kiriella.

Addressing a public gathering held in Kandy, minister Kiriella said that he came to know through a SMS that Minister S.B. Navinna and deputy minister Shantha Bandara would join the UNP.

He also invited former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to contest from the Kurunegala district.
