Special Medical Team Rushed to Kandy Teaching Hospital to Probe into Sudden Deaths…..

On Sunday (8) three (3) patients in kidney wards of the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital died. Followed by this incident, medical examination on the cause of their death was carried out. Medical examination reported to have disclosed that their deaths were caused by Influensa A H 1 H1.

In order to ascertain the real cause for their death, a special medical team from Colombo has been despatched to Kandy Teaching Hospital today said, Director General of Health Services,Jeyasundara Bandara.
