PM Fly to Davos, Switzerland Tomorrow

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave the island for Davos Switzerland tomorrow(16), to attend the 2017 World Economic Summit.

Issuing a statement the Office of the Prime Minister said the summit will look into new development in the world economy during the event that will be held from the 17th to the 21st of January.

Head of State of around 40 countries are expected to attend the summit.

Premier Wickremesinghe during his stay in Davos will meet with Switzerland officials and leading international businessmen for discussions.

The Office of the Prime Minister said the summit is of great significance as world leaders gather to compile an agenda for the global and regional economy.
