Welisara Navy Base Lieutenant Commander Arrested

Eight years back 11 people were abducted from Elakanda, Kotahena,  Colombo 13,  Fernando Road and in Bandaranayake Airport . After  the Good Governance Government  came into power, Habeas corpus  cases were filed in courts .  Followed by this, CID appointed special team to trace where about of these abducted people.  They were said to have been taken  to a underground cage in Trincomalle Navy Camp.

CID  persuading the abduction of  Loganathan and Ratnasamy traced that both of them  were taken in a van to Trincomalle Navy  Camp. Lieutenant Commander, Mudiyanselage, Dhammika, Anilmama was responsible  to account  for both  persons abducted  by him. In  his statement  to the CID  he was unable to account for them, CID reported to the court. The court  ordered to remand him until 26^th January 2017. CID  continues investigation by interrogating then  intelligent officer  attached to  Trincomalle Navy Camp Captain Guruge Dayaratna.
