Colombo High Court Issued Notice on 13 Respondents to Appear Before Court

United People’s Freedom Alliance Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa was arrested by Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division  and remanded over discrepancies reported at the State Engineering Corporation during the tenure of the United People’s Freedom Alliance-led government.

The bail application filed by Wimal Weerawansa was taken up for consideration before the Colombo High Court today(6).

Colombo High Court issued notice to the 13 respondents cited in the bail application including the Attorney General and the Officer in Charge of the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division to appear before Court on the 13th  February 2017 .

The order was issued by High Court judge Vikum Kaluarachchi this morning.
