VAT Increase Will Hit Us in Future – MR

The former President Mahinda Rajapaksa  while addressing  a rally held in Kurunegala said, the  consequences of the Value Added Tax (VAT)  increase would further cause serious harm to the public in the future.

 The government has not considered the increase in retail  prices  when they introduced VAT .   Increase in VAT   would inevitably lead to an increase in the price of goods.
