Weather Forecast For 14th February 2017

Fairly strong gusty winds are expected over the country (up to 40-50kmph) and surrounding sea areas (up to 60kmph).

Several spells of showers will occur in the Northern, North-central, Eastern, Uva and North-western provinces and in the Hambantota district.

Showers or thundershowers are likely at several places elsewhere, particularly after 2.00 pm.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
