H1N1 Influenza Virus Infection in the North

In the North  four patients have  been . identified  for H1N1 influenza  Further, three patients suspected to be infected with H1N1 influenza were admitted to the hospital and their blood samples had been subjected to laboratory test. In Vanni  three children were identified as positive to  H1N1 influenza . They were kept in a separate ward and  treated  in Killinochchi hospital.  Yesterday 4  patients were suspected  to be infected with H1N1 influenza were admitted to Killinochchi hospital.  Laboratory test has proved positive in respect of one patient and medical report of other three is yet to be received.
