Twenty Sniffer Dogs for Airport Security

Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Nimal Siripala de Silva has submitted a proposal to purchase of 20 sniffer dogs to be deployed at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) by the Air Force.

The sniffer dogs will  be used to detect explosives, firearms, drugs, money and illegal items at airports.
