SLFLA urges the government not to violate election laws
Sri Lanka Freedom Lawyers’ Association (SLFLA) on Wednesday (08) stated that it will be a violation of election law if the government urges the private sector to increase wages of its employees before the August 17th polls.
The observation was made by an Attorney of Law at a press conference held in Colombo.
The Attorney charged that the establishment of the Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) is unlawful. He also asserted that the judicial supremacy of the country has been challenged under the Yahapalanaya government.
